I’d say I’m down on my luck, but that’s an understatement. I’m flat on my ass. Homeless, hungry and in hiding with my little sister at the age of twenty-one, I’ve never been so desperate. I’ve hit rock bottom when I get an offer I can’t refuse. Sell my body to save my sister? There’s nothing I won’t do to keep her safe. I make the rules and I’m not afraid to defend myself if this rich guy crosses the line. But once I see beneath his cold, calculating fa├žade, the lines aren’t so clear anymore.

She’s an intoxicating mix of tough and vulnerable I’ve never known before. This homeless woman who fits right into my upper-class world is running from someone powerful, and I’ll do whatever it takes to protect her. But Quinn isn’t meant to be controlled, so I’m forced to choose between owning her and loving her. I’ve finally met my match, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her truly mine.

Our Review

Oh how I loved His. This book has so much potential to be a new favorite of mine! The story of Quinn and Andrew is one that I fell in love with from the very beginning of this book.
Quinn is a take no shit, all in type of woman and I love her character so much for it! She is a survivor living on the streets of New York with her little sister. They are running from their past and only have each other to rely on. Quinn really surprised me in the book because even though she is such a badass, she is still a loving person and will help anyone in need.
I was not surprised by Andrew’s reaction to Quinn and how quickly he began to fall for her or the amount of intrigue she riled up in him. Andrew is the typical brooding, self-preserved billionaire we always read about, or so we think. However, whenever Quinn starts to peel back the many layers of Andrew we can not help but to fall in love with him. He will do anything to protect what is his and Quinn just made the list.
I truly loved where this story went, but on the same note I was slightly disappointed about how fast the ending came and went. I felt as if it needed a little more unfolding than what was given. Even with that tiny little nick in the reading I still fell in love with the story of Andrew and Quinn.
