Review
I could not wait to get my greedy little hands on
Provocative. I fell in love with Nathan
and Adele in Tempting and was exciting to see where their journey would
continue to take them. And I was blown
away by the story that unfolded before me as I read tonight. Yes tonight.
I could not put this book down. I
read it within less than three hours. I
devoured it.
Their story while in some circumstances unusual is also in
some circumstances, so completely relatable.
I have been down the path that they are treading and know the grief they
share. And it is so devastating. I cried for them while I read. But it isn’t all gut wrenching pain; there is
still serious spontaneous combusting heat between these two. I was half expecting my kindle to short out
from it. And the anger…usually I find
fights in books too fake. Not here, Alex
Lucian does a good job at making them seem so real. This adds to the relatability of the
characters as well. Plus it makes
everything rawer.
If you haven’t had a chance to pick up the Tempting series,
I highly recommend it. The feels will
have you reeling in all the best ways. I can’t wait to dive into more of Alex’s
