Fabulist (fabyələst): a liar, especially a person who invents elaborate, dishonest stories
After losing her job and her apartment, Samantha Wittaker takes a leap of faith when she tries out for The Fabulist, a new reality TV show promising a prize well worth the risk. Her sexy, tough as nails personality attracts more than just the attention of the producers. She also catches the eye of a couple of contestants as well as a hot, challenging cameraman.
The twists and turns of reality TV are like nothing she ever even imagined.
Deception, danger, love and lust lurk at every turn.
Sometimes people lie. They lie to save themselves or to cover a truth.
They lie to protect feelings or to protect hearts.
Not all lies are bad. Or are they?
Can Sam play the game or will the game play her?

Sam Wittaker and Carmen are friendship goals. To The End. They are polar opposites and it completely works for their dynamic. So of course whenever Sam loses her job of ten years due to store closing Carme, her best friend, opens her home and cheeto supply to Sam. Carmen’s bright and bubbly personality is just what the doctor order for Sam, especially when an opportunity to audition for a reality TV show presents itself. WIth some persuading and begging, Sam and Carmen try out on the show and believe you me that is only the beginning of their adventures. With page after page of laughs, tears, swooning, and some top notch entertainment, I fell for Dawn Chiletz every word. I was on the edge of my seat for Chapter 1. I could not wait to see where this book would take me and who I would meet along the way. I have been in a funk for the past week. Kid sick, Husband sick, Me sick, everyone sick. It has made reading difficult and everything else on top of that has just been difficult. Dawn Chiletz brought me out of my funk and I am eternally grateful for that. The Fabulist is one for the books ( see what I did there?). I recommend everyone to read this book, especially if you love a tall drink of water and a tall tale. - Daddy L
