When Ivy and her roommate have to switch dorms, they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. That is until they stumble upon some badly hidden love letters left by the previous student. Curiosity kills the cat and the girls decide to read the letters. Upon opening they find the stuff every college girl's dream is made of. A man who is fluent in smooth words and in the art of swooning. That is until Ivy’s roommate finds out who wrote the letters. Judson Devereux and he is in prison and being charged for a brutal murder. But, can that be enough to throw Ivy off course of falling for this stranger with a silver tongue?
Let me start by saying that I am a new reader of Dori Lavelle and I am very impressed. I opened this book thinking I was going to get a few chapters in before bed and before I knew it I was at the end and going “ Uhm, where do I get my grubby hands on book 2?!!??!” Now it’s 4 in the morning and I am up putting my words on paper before I combust.
This book is so good. You do not even realize how many times I had to pause and reassess my life before I could continue on because the scene was steamy or had me so jittery from anticipation. I have yet to find a book that had me begging for more before I was even halfway done. I did not know there was a cliffhanger at the end of this book and I can’t even be mad about it because it was just that damn good. Dori Lavelle - 1 Daddy L - 0. - Daddy L
