REVIEW
Back into the world of murder and mayhem I delved with Take Me to Hell by TJ Spade and just
like with book one; I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning. These books have so many twists and turns
that I get whiplash following the storyline.
And that just makes me want to devour them faster. I love books where just when you think you’ve
got a handle on the whodunit, the author throws you a curveball from left
field. It keeps me engaged, entertained
and fascinated.
I also love the characters.
They are flawed, entertaining and close-knit. I like those kinds of crews within
books. And I love that we get to follow
them over the series of books. I’m not
usually a huge fan of thrillers. I tend
to be on the sensitive side, meaning I get nightmares easily, and I have no
problems reading these. I love that
because I love a good mystery novel, something that gets my blood pumping. But too many stories these days are all about
the gore and not about the chase. Spade
keeps you hooked by fast-paced action and adventure without the need for over the top bloody
details.
I cannot wait for Take
You Home to come out in December. It
can’t come soon enough for me. And I
really hope that it’s not the last we’ll be seeing of Caleb, Jack, Makayla and
the crew. I’m starting to get attached. -Peace and Love, Buxom J
