Penelope is a sassy, brilliant, tequila drinking numbers girl. She has spent the past two years as the prim and proper arm candy of her boyfriend Princess Henry. Okay, his name is just Henry but he reminds me of a princess. Before Henry, Penelope was a bit of a wild child. She got in to lots of trouble, just being a college kid and doing things that she loved with her best friend Patti. Once Henry decides Penelope doesn’t fit into his perfect life, she decides to hop on a cruise ship and become one with the sun and tequila. Little does she know there is someone on that ship who will rock her world. Enter, stage left, Sam Dresden.

J.D. Hollyfield is my girl! I swear this woman is an artist with words! I love the web that she weaves with her stories and how she can hold you captive from the very beginning. As soon as I read the first page of Life As We Know It, I was hooked. I didn’t put this book down until the end and even then I held my kindle for dear life. I loved Penelope’s character so much. I felt like her tangents and talking to the reader as if you were really there was one of my favorite things about this book! I will recommend this one for a long time to come! Not to mention the sex is pretty freakin’ hot. Sam is pretty freakin’ hot. IT’S ALL PRETTY FREAKIN’ HOT!! - Daddy L
