"Sometimes it takes you losing something for you to realize how much good it actually did for you."

Matt Taylor grew up in a loving family who accepted the way he chose to live his life and whom he chose to love.

It's been an entirely different story for Nate Collins. His loving mother passed away when he was five and his father and step-mother have made his life a living hell.

They sent him to war as a punishment for his sexual curiosity and it changed his life for the worse.

What happens when those two worlds collide together?

Will Nate be able to finally live his life the way he wants to or will he crumble under the weight of his family's pressure?

REVIEW

I’m a little conflicted about how to write this review.  In the end, I did end up enjoying Love at First Hate but it was a struggle at first.  When I first began reading it, especially in the prologue, I was convinced I was going to hate it.  I’m glad that I decided to push through because I really do like the book.

I found Matt to be cheeky and hilarious.  I loved Nate’s mixture of vulnerability and alpha maleness.  There was a lot of great character development with Nate.  What I really struggled with was that a lack of flaws in some of the characters that made the characters hard to relate to and connect with.  While I found Matt fun to read about, he would annoy me in real life.  It felt a little unrealistic to me.  The drama was great, pretty on topic with world events.  I also wanted a little more depth into Nate’s back story with the Army.

All that aside, I did enjoy the story.   It was decently paced and kept me engaged.  The love scenes were hot and steamy.  There was some definite sexual tension going on.  And you could definitely feel the love between the main characters.  If you enjoy a good M/M with cheeky humor, you might like this one.  -Peace and love, Buxom J

Author Bio

Muriel Garcia is an indie author from Belgium.

She started writing in 2005 but never published anything until 2015 when she decided to bite the bullet and just do it. She's grateful for all the amazing people she got to meet through her passion for writing.

The 'Last Hangman MC Series' is the one that made people find out about her but since then she released a contemporary series and a dark gory thriller, which people have compared to Stephen King on crack — thing she's rather proud of.

Some of her favourite things include snowy days, live music, horror movies, ghost stories, travelling and of course a cosy day spent with a good book.
