Review

Coming back to the Fusion series was like coming back to old friends and having a glass of wine.  I know that when I dive into a Kristen Proby book that I’m going to get a sexy, heartwarming story.  And oh did she bring on the heat with this one.  Blush for Me is probably the hottest Proby story I’ve read lately.  I absolutely fell in love with this group of friends when I read Close to You (yes…I read out of order) and with each book I read, I find myself more enamored.  This is a fun, sexy read that hits the spot. 

Kat is hella smart, independent and just has a tiny flying phobia.  While on her flight to California for a wine conference, she has a small freak out.  Luckily Mac is there to help calm her down.  Mac is confident, sexy and successful.  He knows what he wants and goes for it.  Since neither of them wants a relationship, a no strings fling seems like the perfect way to pass the week.  The chemistry between them is explosive.  No slow burn here.  Both of them are beautifully complex characters with their own intricacies, flaws and strengths.  Of course, the secondary characters are just as amazing.  This girl pack has each other’s backs no matter what.  I love how fiercely they care about each other.  And their guys just blend right into the family.

This book was full of heat, humor and heart.  There was some family drama with a little bit of mystery thrown in towards the end but it wasn’t too overdone.  I thought it worked well with the book even if I predicted it coming from a mile away.  If you’re looking for a story that’ll leave you with a smile on your face, definitely pick this one up.  -Peace and Love, Buxom J
