I can say unequivocally that I have fallen hard for the men
of the Raven Riders. I was pretty much
sold after Ride Hard and with each novel;
Laura Kaye draws me in even more. I
normally don’t read a lot of MC books. I
struggle with the lifestyle portrayed in a lot of them. It’s just not my cup of tea. But these men, while rough and ready, are
also honorable in their own way. And
Kaye is not as “in your face” about the lifestyle most MCs lead.
Cora is strong, kind, and sweet. She’s also hiding a horrible secret. Slider is guarded and withdrawn but a good
father. He’s got scars and secrets of
his own. The connection between the two
of them is sweet and tender. Don’t get
me wrong, Slider is a complete alpha—possessive and protective but Cora and his
kids bring out the soft side of him. Time
to add another Raven to the book boyfriend list. The chemistry between the two is red
hot. I was totally fanning myself. They are well-developed, full of layers and
each with their own strengths and flaws.
And I loved seeing the rest of the Raven club and seeing peeks into what’s
going on with Dare, Haven, Maverick, and Alexa.
There’s plenty of mystery interwoven into the romance to
keep anyone entertained and on the edge of their seat. At points I found myself closing my eyes
because I just didn’t want to see what happened next (Yes, I’m a wimp, I
proudly admit it…). If you’ve never read
a Laura Kaye novel, I’m begging you to give the Ravens a chance.
