Once again, Piper Rayne has hit a homerun. Afternoon Delight tugged on my heartstrings and made me laugh. Each time I read one of their books, I fall more in love with this duo's writing. They've never failed to entertain. Add in this was a second chance love story, I was sold.

When Chelsea makes a delivery for her boss, the last thing she expected was to run into her ex. Dean is apologetic, sexy, and a heck of a dirty talker. Chelsea is scared, guarded, and sassy. The chemistry between them is undeniable and I loved the tension between them. Their story is one of heartache and forgiveness. I loved the fact that they were exes and ex-spouses at that. It added a whole new dimension to their second chance love story. The secondary characters were fabulous as well.

Now, I haven't read the first one in this series and I haven't gotten to read The Bedroom Games series but even though characters intermingle, it definitely is a standalone. It does make me want to read those stories even more. As for Afternoon Delight, there is some drama but it's not over the top and it works with the storyline. It did catch me a little off guard but I love it when an author can do that.

If you want a sexy book that'll give you the warm fuzzies and make you laugh, definitely pick this up. And the rest of their books. It's worth it I promise.
