I’m a fan of Expedition Unknown on the Travel Channel and I
always thought the host would make a great inspiration for a book hero, so when
I read the blurb for No Trespassing I
knew I had to read it. And I loved
it. I thought it was unique and brilliant. The premise is intriguing—I would love to see
more like this. I’m a history buff and
at one time thought about going into anthropology so I’d love to see more
anthropologist and archaeologist heroes.
Big brains can be sexy too!
And Dean Savageman is incredibly sexy. He’s sweet, he is a dirty talker and he’s an
alpha. It’s as if Robichaux got into my
brain and wrote the perfect book boyfriend for me. He’s got everything I love in a bbf. The ying to his yang is Emmy. She’s shy but feisty and slightly
klutzy. She’s going after her dreams and
trying to do it on her own merits. I
admire her gumption. I love that she’s
introverted. I don’t think we see that
often enough in books. There is great
character development here. And some
great secondary characters too that you get glimpses of but don’t overtake the
story.
It was a perfect blend of history and romance, it kept me
enthralled. I couldn’t wait for the next
puzzle or clue to be revealed. If you’re
in the mood for something different that’s packed with heat, humor and some
really great writing I’d one-click this one today. I’m adding this one to my re-read pile. I’ve also got a new TV show to add to my
