What’s worse than losing everything? Try driving a phallic-shaped RV across the country with your vile womanizing coworker.
Copywriter Callie Murphy has a bad attitude, a vicious tongue, and a serious aversion to Shimura Advertising’s resident manwhore, Walker Rhodes. Know where he can stick his good looks and Southern charm? She can think of a few creative places. Avoiding him wouldn’t be a problem, except her boss threatens to fire her if she doesn’t go along with him on their RV client’s cross-country tour.
Walker is sick of his job, tired of women, and in a big old creative rut. The upcoming client road trip is just what he needs to shake things up and rediscover his lost passion. But his plans go south when his partner drops out at the last minute, and Callie, the foul-mouthed tiny terror, takes her place. Unless he can find a way to thaw his icy coworker, he’s looking at two month’s of pure hell.
On the road, they experience one hilarious misadventure after another and soon find themselves on a life-changing journey. But when their paths veer off in different directions, will they hit a dead end?

Review
What could be bad about taking a free vacation? When that vacation is courtesy of your work
and you have to travel with your manwhore of a co-worker in a tin can of an RV
around the country. As soon as I read
the blurb about Road-Tripped, I was sold.
I love a good rom com; I always could use a good laugh. And when I can find an author who makes me
laugh out loud, I usually latch on to them like glue. And I was definitely laughing with this one.
Callie Murphy is trying to re-build her life after a horrendous breakup when
she’s told that she needs to go on a cross-country tour with one of her
co-workers and pretend to be a couple.
And it’s not just any co-worker, it’s the manwhore. The one guy that all the girls Velcro themselves
to. Walker has a bad case of
burnout. He gave up his dreams of
photography and painting in order to have a steady paycheck with advertising. And he’s slowly felt his soul withering ever
since. He knows he needs a change, he
just doesn’t know what but this trip around the country is just the chance he
needs to get his creative juices flowing.
That is until his boss dumps angry girl into the RV with him.
As a woman that speaks fluent sarcasm, I appreciated Callie’s
lack of filter and sarcasm. Her quips
often had me giggling or just out right laughing. I also loved Walker’s “Southernisms.” The book was incredibly detailed while not
being bogged down. I was able to vividly
picture the scenes (even though there were some I didn’t want to, Bob
anyone?!), it was a lot like watching a movie.
Actually can we get this as a movie please? It’d make a fabulous one. The sexual tension between Callie and Walker
as they get to know each other is hot and when they finally give in, it’s even
hotter. And I absolutely love the
secondary characters. They add a lot of
color to the story. I especially love
Walker’s grandma, I want to be her when I grow up.
I’m going to be recommending this all over the place. It is hand’s down one of the best rom coms I’ve
read so far this year. -Peace and Love, Buxom J
