BLURB

An all new second chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series.

It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding.

I should have ignored it. Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.

With a plus one.

And then my assistant accidentally mailed it.

Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.

When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.

But I didn’t.

And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what happens next?

REVIEW

Sweet Cheeks was second chance romance at its best.  K.  Bromberg created a story that was charming and sweet.  I was completely swept off my feet.  I adore these kinds of stories.  There was the history of their past, he was her brother’s best friend, and there was a treehouse involved.  It did take me a bit to get enthralled in the story, the first 20% seemed a little convoluted to me but once it hit its stride, I was captivated.

Saylor was funny, cute and cheeky.  Hayes was swoon worthy, sweet, and I loved the way he wooed her.  They were playful; there was great banter and tons of sexual tension.    And just like with her other books, it was full of hot moments to steam up the pages.  I fell in love with them as a couple.  You get to go on a journey with them, through the present and through their memories.  I absolutely loved the depth and history built in.  There were also some fabulous side characters—ones to love, ones to hate.  I loved that the characters didn’t feel flat at all.

If you love second chance romances, you really should take a chance on this one.  It is low drama, high warm fuzzies.  It kept me smiling and feeling good.  -Peace and Love, Buxom J

Ten years is a long time to hold a grudge. Ten years is also a long time to love someone who hurt you so deeply you were scarred on the inside. Ten years is also a long time to find yourself, but that didn’t hold Saylor back from finally finding what makes her happy. Or a small part of what makes her happy.

After ending her 6 year relationship and engagement to Mitch the Prick, Saylor did what she always dreamed of doing. Opened her own bakery, Sweet Cheeks. 8 months later, she receives an invitation to a wedding. Her wedding. Only she isn’t the bride, but nevertheless the details are exactly that. Her wedding. The wedding she picked out with Mitch before she had a moment of clarity and decided he was THE ONE. Despite the emotions she feels about these details, she marks the RSVP card as a yes and with a plus one.

Have you met Hayes? Well, you’re about to.. Hayes is an A- list actor who has worked his ass off to get the tip top of the Hollywood motion picture ladder. He also happens to be Saylor’s first love from ten years ago, her brothers best friend, and now her plus one to a wedding she planned with a man she doesn’t love anymore.

K Bromberg has slowly weaseled her way into my top favorites list of authors and I can’t say that I am mad about it. She has this way about her writing that makes me love her as well as hate her. I always seem to get sucked into these world’s that she creates and can’t seem to get out of until the very last word. Even then i sit and reminisce over her books for days after and Sweet Cheeks is no different. If you’re looking for second chance love, you have come to the right book. If you are looking for hot and steamy sex scenes, again, you have the right book. If you are looking for something to keep you biting your nails, crying, or smiling. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT BOOK! - Daddy L
